I had some failures this year and altered my goals accordingly.

So though I am not on track for 52 in 52, I am on track for 40 in 52.

I'll take the 40!

I should hit my 52 in April, just in time for our cruise.

A pound a week is a very comfortable, enjoyable pace.

I gave myself Christmas and Thanksgiving off.

I remember a post in January asking how they could "lose 20 pounds in 4 weeks".

Slow and easy may not win the race but it certainly does cross the finish line.

If I can do anything at all to encourage anybody to be comfortable with a slow loss, all I can say is that to date,

I have lost 92 sticks of butter.

You're doing a great job. 23 lbs is nothing to sniff at! When you get to your cruise, take some pics!
