31 year old female trying to lose weight and get in shape. It has been a long time coming but I think I am finally ready. After 2 children and a divorce I deserve to get myself looking the way I want and feel comfortable in my own skin. Any helpful advice or tips is much appreciated. Been on MFP for 20 days and have only lost 3 pounds. Better than nothing but still want to see faster results. Thanks!

    Making a start is great - the fact you have made progress is even better! I recommend also taking measurements at some point as if you hit a plateau you can track more than just weight loss. Keep at it and you will be grateful in the long run.
