Starvation mode isn't a thing. You are eating more calories and/or burning fewer calories than you think you are.

You are not eating what you think you're eating.

Yeah. She's not losing weight so she's clearly eating enough food. She's eating too much, in fact. It's her logging practices that are out of whack.

Yep. Or her body is well and truly out of whack, but I find that simplest solution is usually the right one.

Wait, no. Must be starvation mode. :noway:

But adaptive thermogeneis is a thing, as is long term hormonal changes from VLCD which one study showed lasted a year after the VLCD was finished.

Could the OP be eating more than she thinks? Yup.
Could she have messed her body up with what seems like previous VLCD? Yup.

She would be best served putting her information into MFP, setting the goal a .5 pound per week and measuring and weighing all her food for a month making sure the database entries match up properly with the nutrition information and seeing what happens rather than following a 900-1000 calorie "diet".

Alternating between starvation and eating too much because you cannot take the hunger any more is not doing your body any favours. Calculate how much you need to eat (no, it is not 1200 for maintenance, unless you are 2 feet tall or in a comma), be honest about weighting and logging your food, set realistic loss goals, and you will see changes.

Uhm, based on your older posts, you have been at this since last year, with no results and the same replies. Why do you think that keep doing something that is not helping you and ignoring everyone and then complaining again will get you to your goals?
