Trying the community as extra motivation/support

Hi,
I love the My Fitness Pal website and app. I have used it with good results, but I always seem to slowly gain the weight back. I have moved a lot in the last few years and I notice that when I get to a new place I tend to gain weight until I find some friends and get a social life going. This time I moved to Chicago back in Nov - I now have a home office and it has been freezing with snow and ice everywhere. Triple whammy! I just broke a top weight, a number I never thought I'd get to, and I'm too embarrassed to write it down!

Soo, I bought Robb's The Paleo Solution, and I'm also reading an e-book on ketosis by McDonald. Anyone tried either thing? I'm excited, 2 days in, and just completed 2 days at less than 100 grams of carbs. Would love to hear from anyone with experiences to share or words of encouragement.
