Volunteering ???

Hi

Do any of you Mfp volunteer ?
I have been thinking about it for a while now but I'm unsure what to do, I'm 27 and work just looking to do extra and meet new friends.
Any advise greatly appreciated

I was recovering from ME/CFS and volunteered at a local charity, driving the elderly and disabled around in a minibus. I loved it, it helped me to recover and get back into the routine of a workday, I met some lovely people including the administration girl who I subsequently asked out and who has been my girlfriend for the past 6 years!

I now have a job which takes up all my time, were it not for that I would be back volunteering for the same charity. If you've got time go for it, it can be very enjoyable and also looks great on your CV / resume.
