Feet get pins and needles on elliptical

Hi All!
I love the elliptical but I'm having a problem with the pads of my feet going numb and I'm getting pins and needles. Usually happens about 20 minutes in. Before I posted my own topic I searched in the message boards and found that some have had success loosening the tops of their sneakers. I have tried this and it helps delay the inevitable but I'm still getting sleepy feet. Anyone else have any advice, tips, tricks or solutions?
Also my sneakers are not that old though I am considering buying a new gym pair so if you've had this same issue with your feet and bought a pair of sneakers that helped please let me know what brand

I had the same problem, could be due to a lot of different things. I would start with your shoes, make sure you get the right pair for your foot (arch, width, gait) Personally I have found Asics to be the best by far. Best bet is to go to a place like Running Room or something that specializes in fitting people to the right shoe (not sport check) and if you can manage it, spending a few extra bucks on a decent pair of shoes will make a difference, think of it as an investment and if you are going to be using them everyday or almost everyday, it is well worth the investment.
dot forget to stretch after and proper warm up too,0 -
I get this too. When it starts coming on I just lift my feet a little at the bottom of the rotation. This seems to do the trick.0
