I heard about it on Dr. Oz and decided to give it a try and I must say it tastes better then brown rice. Has anyone had any success with hulled barley?

I was going to reply to this some time ago and forgot.
I love barley. Originally tried it to increase my fiber intake and eat it daily now. I make a sort of pilaf with it by boiling it together with meat, veggies and broth. Bachelor food for sure, but surprisingly tasty and very filling.
I mostly eat pearled barley though, haven't seen hulled barley around.
But as for "success", I would need a definition there. I am essentially at my goal now and losing the last few kilos, but I don't think any particular food can be credited with that. The fact that barley is more satiating has helped, certainly, but I mostly eat it because I like the taste...0
