Calorie burn / P90X / Or any other exercise DVD

How do you know how much you are burning? Sorry to be a simpleton... just did my first ever workout in front of the tele. There was a lot of sweat!

    I think P90X would be considered circuit training. The most accurate way is to get a heart rate monitor and see how much you burn then make it a custom work out to enter in MFP.

    I dont have a heart rate monitor so I find the closest possible activity and use that.
    I dance on the wii and xbox with my sons so I find "dancing" and type in the amount of minutes.... :D

    I wear a heart rate monitor.
    HRM aren't very accurate when it comes to these programs, which is why i laugh when tony suggest it. Most are only accurate for steady state cardio.

    Honestly, I would use the below calculator to figure out your caloric needs. If you want to track exercise, just changed calories burned to 1 calories.
