Calories in 5oz filet mignon??

New here, but I just was working on my daily food diary and it says a 5oz filet mignon steak contains 40 calories?? I know this is wrong...does someone know what it is....

Try searching for fillet mignonette, you'll get a range if options

40-50 calories per oz seems about right.

Try looking under "beef tenderloin." According to the USDA database, it can vary from 56 to 76 calories per ounce.

And the reason you need to know if it's raw or cooked because raw is around 43cal for an ounce. Th meat shrinks during the cooking but retains the calories for the most part and the reason this distinction is important.
