Polar Personal Calorie Counter

So I have heard great things about the polar watch/ heart rate monitor. My friend has the FT7 and lives by it! I am going to puchase one. What is the best? Please all thoughts on the subject! THANKS:tongue:

    I have a similar version, the brand is Sportsline, and it's great! It tracks my heart monitor, calories burned, and my distance as well as steps.
    It was roughly a $110, and definately worth it! It found it to be accurate, I compared it to the calorie tracker on the eliptical and it measure exactly the same.

    I have the Sportsline to. Even though my treadmill shows more calories burned than the watch but I know the watch is the most accurate. Truely opens your eyes!

    I also have the Polar ft7 and live by it too. I love it. It was pretty pricey but so worth it. Remember to take off your resting heart rate of calories burned.

    whats the difference in the FT4 and the FT7. I am HRM shopping right now and found a FT4 the reviews look good and it does what I need it to do.

    Buy it from Ebay you'll save allot.

    It all depends on what you want from it. I use mine for cycling and on my elliptical machine so I have a S710I older model but works great.

    I just ordered the FT4 and will have it by Tuesday which I'm excited that I will have it for Tuesdays P90x Plyo session. Check out Amazon they have good deals.

    Does it have a chest strap? Thinking the FT7 is the first of the higher ones to have it. I love my FT7 worth the extra $$$

    Yes it has a chest strap I don't want a HRM without one I had a Polar F4 and it was good too had a chest strap as well I kind of liked the F6 but decided to go with the FT4. they both came out at the same time. I did a little more research to compare and they aren't that much different besides the price. I only spent 100.00 because of the shipping so thats not bad.
