Runners please help out!!

Hi Guys, I was hoping to get some advice on muscle pain. I’ve been training on hills and about a week and a half ago a pulled a muscle on my inner thigh.. it was pretty sore and I stopped running for about a week but did some light stretching.

All seemed to be well and we went for the normal route again yesterday. Even though it’s not as bad as last week the pain seems to be back. I didn’t complete the whole route in fear that it might put me out for a week again. I would like to get back on the road again on Friday. What would be the best solution for this muscle? (bar the cold/hot treatment)

    have you tried rolling it with a foam roller ? it'll hurt like hell but will help.

    I second the foam rolling. I would also hit that area with a rolling pin too (I do quite frequently).
