Hi guys I want and need to buy a counter for my heart rate and calories. Is a strap on under your chest the best? or is a fitbit? or any other ones you can suggest. Advantages and disadvantages of them? I am really clueless and I train outside and in the gym. so i need something that suits both conditions. :flowerforyou:

I think the HR straps have a much stronger reputation. Perhaps consider a Garmin 220 watch and HR (chest) strap. It's supposed to be able to give decent readings on a treadmill due to built-in accelerometer (so you don't need a footpod as well). See DCRainmaker for an incredibly in-depth review. Short version - it's an excellent fitness watch.
Edit -the wrist strap things are not rated as reliable and also tend to have built-in batteries, once those run out you have to throw most models away. Not great longevity.0 -
Brilliant thank you0
