strapless heart rate monitor

I want to buy a strapless hrm I have looked into fitbit (I forgot the name of the particular one) the polar loop and thr core. I am unsure of which one is the most accurate. Has anyone used any of those if so how do you feel about it? Thank you!

I started with the BodyBugg about 4 years ago and it kept me on track and the support of other users was incredible. As Apex phased out the BodyBugg, several of us researched what was out there and all but one have moved on to the FitBit. Personally, I don't like bracelets and watches or anything on my wrist, so I opted for the FitBit One and have no regrets. I clip it on my bra between the girls and there it stays. I will say this, the only thing the gadgets do for you is make you realize you're not moving enough - and for me - that's worth it's weight in gold. On dragging days, one look on the phone and that will generally get me back up and moving.

I don't believe any of the three listed are true HRMs. Polar Loop will still require a chest strap. The Core is by Sony and I avoid Sony products. They change too often and then support is no longer there. If you like wrist gadgets, the FitBit Flex is great as well.

The FitBit dashboard and website are easy to follow and understand. Once you get going on the Fitbit and engage with other users, the leaderboard for step activity helps push you along as well.

That's my two cents. Good luck.

Those are more like activity trackers than HRMs... They'll track your movement and count your steps through the day. I don't own any, but Fitbit seems to be a popular choice. If you want something to wear to monitor your HR or calories burned during specific/scheduled activities like running, you should get a HRM with a chest strap.

    Why with a chest strap?

They told me the polar loop was a strapless hrm. The fitbit one is that a hrm? Or is it like a pedometer? I want sonething I can wear at the gym but also wear to work to see how many calories burned

Chest strap for accuracy and HRMs aren't meant to be worn all day like you're suggesting. Sounds to me like an activity tracker is what you want. It will be able to tell that you're moving more when you're exercising, but will also track your movements at work and such.

ETA: Fitbit is an activity tracker.
