Goodwill Outlet

Good Morning, MFP'ers! :flowerforyou:

So excited! Going downtown this morning with my sis to the Goodwill Outlet! :drinker: Books and glass are .39/lb and clothes etc. are .79/lb. I have purchased quite a few articles of clothing for me, the fam and friends!…many still have the original tags!

When we head to a Cardinals game and my kids see the Goodwill building they say, "Hey, Mom, there's your Mothership!"

Let me know if you are ever in "the Lou" (which oddly enough means bathroom in parts of Europe) and we can go together!

I love thrift shopping (just spent about $110 this weekend on clothes) but I avoid our Goodwill outlets at all cost. It seems like it's always the worst of the worst. I don't mind shuffling through racks but it totally grosses me out to dig through bins. Maybe your outlets are much better than ours.

The Goodwill stores by me mostly hang items on hangers, no bins. I would definately NOT dig through bins.

I find it odd that goodwill would even need an outlet. Around here the mark the prices up so high on everything, that in some cases I can get stuff brand new on clearance. I remember growing up I used to love thrift shopping with my mom and the prices were very fair. However, I do still enjoy going to some of the locally owned thrift stores in my area. I love the thrill of finding a great deal!
