this one is my favorite!
mash 3/4 banana and mix with one scoop protein, 1/4 cup oats, two egg whites & almond milk until it gets pancake batter-y! Sometimes i mix in chocolate chips or something and put the 1/4 of the banana on top and its delicious! i always use cellucor whey, which is the best0 -
thanks for the recipe!
how many pancakes does that make? 2?0 -
1/3 cup oats
3 egg whites
.75 scoop whatever whey protein powder you like
.25 scoop of pea protein powder
1/8th tsp of baking powder
1 inch of a banana
Little bit of water or almond milk if it's too thick.
Dash of vanilla extract.
Spices, I like cinnamon.
Blend in a blender and cook on low heat, I use pan spray too. If you cook on high heat you run the risk of the whey getting rubbery, the pea protein helps prevent this.0 -

They are delicious. I suggest using Fage, and definitely baking soda instead of baking powder. Even better using whole wheat pastry flour. I add 1/4 cup of milk or something too.Typically I get 6-8 pancakes and it's about 320 calories for the whole batch.0 -

I made these the other day and I would second adding milk or water to the batter. Mine came out very dense rather than fluffy, and I think needing some additional liquid might be the key. I'm also probably going to reduce the baking soda a bit, there's a lot of sodium in a tsp.0 -
I haven't ever heard of "protien pancakes" but I make these pancakes a lot that have tons of protein in them from greek yogurt...same thing?
Either way, they are delicious. We never make another pancakes anymore, even for guests. These are our favorite.
