Has anyone cooked quinoa and rice together in the same pan? I want to use some quinoa to extend my rice a bit this evening

I probably would if they have the same cooking time. My quinoa is 20 mins. Or add it part way through? I have never tried them together though.

I've combined farro, rice, and quinoa in the same pot even though they all have different cooking times. The rice was a bit mushy, so you might want to mix it in halfway through the quinoa cook time.

Thanks all - I'm cooking it with Basmati rice so I'll let you know if it's awful.
