a teensy weensy break!!

This morning I woke up completely exhausted from this week and made the decision to take the day off from exercise. Now I am sitting here doing homework feeling guilty! Does anyone else just need to take a break from exercising?
P.S.--I'm still eating good today, just needed to relax a little.

    Doing the same today - that mega-bike ride really made me sore today. It is good to give your body a break and let your muscles heal.
  • Well, I am just getting started on working out (after about a year's hiatus :P). But back when I did work out I worked out about 4 days a week. If I was tired one day I would work out the next. Always shooting for four workouts. Do you have rest days?
  • Usually one day a week, but I just got back into working out hard core again and really didnt want too. But today I dont think my body could handle anymore. I am just completely exhausted. I need to have myself get a rest day and stick with it!
