OWL DIET

Options
I keep seeing billboards for the OWL diet. Or maybe it because I see one every day that I feel like I'm seeing more. Anyway, I find it somewhat annoying now that I looked it up. An Omaha doctor developed the diet for him and his wife because they needed to lose a little weight. Their before and after photos done look terribly different. They lost 40 lbs together. Since it is an 800 calorie a day diet, I wonder what kind of doctor he really is. AND it is really expensive. What little I can find out is very unhealthy sounding. He is probably a doctor in a field that has nothing to do with diet and nutrition.

By the way, OWL stands for Omaha Weight Loss because the doctor is from Omaha. That's all. I keep imaging people picking apart little rodents and birds, eating what owls eat.

"I'm an old man who's about to retire, but I didn't plan for my retirement very well. To rectify that, I have invented the latest fad diet, an unsustainable way to lose weight WITH THE AID OF PRESCRIPTION DRUGS. Just send me some of your money so that I can fleece you and my wife and I can move to an island. Thanks!"

Honestly, how quickly can you rack up 800 cals on field mice and berries and stuff?

We are one mind. My first thought when I saw the topic was 'What, you only eat small mammals you catch by jumping out of a tree and capturing them with your feet?'

Now I'm wondering what kind of exercise program would accompany this diet.

Thinking about people shelling out 450$ a month for an old man to watch them starve makes me so sad. It's like the plot to a terrible art student film.
