Proud of my 8 pounds

I joined MFP back on Jan 14th, 2014, so it's been 45 days now. I'm down 8 pounds! Feeling good, but I have about 30-35 more I would like to shed to get to my goal weight. I have battled with the nasty disease endometriosis for the past 9 1/2 years. 5 surgeries later, including most recently a total hysterectomy. It's been a struggle and very hard on my body and emotions through the years. I feel at times that I will never have my sexy pre-kids/pre-surgery belly back, but I'm starting to see my abs already. FEELS GREAT! Not giving up and feeling better every pound that comes off. Can't wait to reach my goal! Had to share, I'm almost to the first 10 pound loss! No turning back now!

Woohoo! Way to go! Keep it up and you'll definitely get to your goal - you've already been through so much, never give up!

That's awesome! I've lost 7 pounds and I want to tell everyone! It's exciting when you actually start seeing progress! Good luck (and endometriosis is a horrible disease).

Thanks! It sure is, and I had my hyst only 5 months ago too, so it's been rough. I'm not giving up though. Congrats on your loss so far too! We can do this! Great to have support from others too.
