THE LAST 5!

All right, well... I have a few more pounds than 5, but even if I did just lose that amount, I would be quite content I think... It's been tough over the past few months, having to deal with sugar withdrawals and headaches because I had been so addicted to junk food and sitting and no exercise, to a sudden change in diet and physical activity. But, throughout all that pain and suffering (woe is me ;)) I managed to drop almost 10 pounds! Now, I have about 5-7 more to go, and that does not seem that hard at all! I've made it through the worst, I believe. But I'm still kind of wondering... What can I do to continue to shred off those last few pounds? I have a few events coming up that I might splurge a bit on, but I know I can get back on track.
But, yeah, anywho, is there any tips out there from people who have made it to their desired goal weight? What did you do to get rid of the last few pounds?
Also.. I've been working out my abs (can't see them yet because of that nice little layer on my tummy still), but once that is gone, do you have a pretty sleek core?

The secret to dropping those last few lbs (or body fat % points) is support and consistency. You just have to keep your eye on the prize and work for it. I'm in a similar situation. I'm working down to 6% body fat and I'm almost there (started at 30%). In my opinion, support is the most critical. There is just no substitute for someone in your life to help pick you up when you are struggling.

Do you have support? If not, I help organize weight loss support groups through Facebook, and I'd be happy to help in any way I can.

I sent you a friend request so we can chat more if you'd like.
