126 pounds lost - am i sedentary or active?

Good day
I started my journey in Feb 2013

Monday to Friday as follows

0700 - 0730 walk 1.63 miles daily
1130 - 1230 walk 3.00 miles daily
1630 - 1800 walk 5.00 miles daily

I work in an office - 7.75 hours per day mostly sedentary

For my fitness goal what do i set my activity level to?

Active
Very Active

Thanks
Matt

    thanks,

I have hit the dreaded plateau
I was set to Sedentary and only eating 1700 calories per day. This resulted in me feeling crap every day
I will set to 'Active' , up the cals and see if we get movement and better all round well being

    take it easy

This is a good question, because, do you mark yourself as sedentary and then log all that walking? Or, do you mark yourself as active, and then only log additional exercise above and beyond your "normal" walking routine? I would think that marking yourself as active would include the walking, so you may not want to log it separately. Just my two cents. And congrats on walking 10 miles per day. That's wonderful!

Thats what I was thinking. It all depends if you log your walks separately or not

If you got a fitbit it doesn't matter what you put in here, cause fitbit will change it automatically. Just eat the calories mfp gives you after syncing with fitbit

If you got fitbit and mfp synced it doesn't matter. You can out it to sedentary and your fitbit will give you extra calories if you have moved more. You cen set it to active and your fitbit will take off calories if you have moved less. Each way you will have the same amount of calories for the same amount of moving about. try it out a couple of days on each and choose the one where fitbit changes the least (good for planning)
