Started fitness pal 28 days ago and have lost 11lbs. Family member has lost over 30 and helped to work on this plan. Didn't realize how much crap I was eating and that floating in the 220-230lb weight was not healthy. Severe chest pains during a stressful time before Christmas made the motivation to think about where I want to be and at what level of ability to be able to do. Goal for now is 180 and the small am out of lose has really improved ability to climb up a few set of stairs without being winded. Any advise appreciated. Balancing with exercising by walking light weights and using stairs instead of elevators.

Wow. Great job so far. You've already doe the hardest part...getting started. I think your exercising sounds very healthy. There are lots of approaches to that, and nothing is "perfect" so find things that you enjoy and can stick with. Or switch if that works for you. Keeping it fresh is a good way to staying energized about the process. Feel free to add me if you want.0
