Good Morning (or Afternoon, depending where you are MFP community!)
I have struggled to lose 15lbs for 7 years now. 7 years of time and energy all wrapped up in a cycle of low self-esteem, negative self-talk, rebellion, binge, shame, repeat. Well, I have decided that I am ready to break FREE from the cycle! Over the past 2 weeks, I have dedicated myself to the Insanity 60-day challenge, and well, as some of you might know from experience, it is quite the challenge. So, I want to do this right, which for me means three important adjustments:
1) Track my food to ensure that I do not overeat, but also that I do not undereat. Just as importantly, that my food intake is steady throughout the day.
2) Not using exercise, in this case Insanity, as a punishment or to make up for "bad choices"
3) Making sure I drink enough water throughout the day. Due to my exercise regime, I figure I should consume 8-10 8oz glasses daily.
Looking to find a community here to help support me on this journey and keep me motivated if I slip. I've tried to track my food many times in the past 7 years and it hasn't lasted more than 3 days. Please let me know how I can help you in return.
