I hear people saying once they started running that the weight fell off.
I have been walking about 3 miles a day with some strength training.
Today i figured i would start with some treadmill intervals.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I lost the majority of my weight through walking and calorie restriction. I'm running now for the sheer enjoyment of it. Have fun!0

For me the answer is yes. I was walking the same distance daily 3-3.5 miles and the scale never moved - I did this for as long as I can remember. I now run 3.5 miles three times a week and walk 3.5 miles on an incline 3 times a week and have been for about 3 months. The scale moves regularly now. I also have added strength training. The other thing that helped believe it or now was eating more... I was eating 1200 cal/ day which netted me around 900 and couldn't accept this wasn't enough. I now eat around 1500 with a net of 1200. Again this is just what is presently working for me.0
