I always put on about 10-12 pounds during football season with all the tail gating, beer, and fatty foods. Then after it's over I get to dieting and exercising a lose it in about 3 months. Maybe it's not the healthiest life style choice, but it makes me happy. How about you?

I tend to carry 5-10 more during the winter months. In part due to the cost and availability of fresh foods during that time. Also my activity tends to be 50-60% less. I also tend to sleep more in the winter. There's too much for me to get done in the spring, summer and fall!

Yeah but mainly because I'm just more active in the summer with working in the yard, running outside, and I'm more likely to go to the gym than when it's really cold out. And during the winter I always pig out over the holidays and then hibernate until it gets warm again.

I just noticed this as well. I actually gain in the fall, maintain in the summer and lose a bit in the winter/spring.

I am a skier and a swimmer and those are winter sports, hiking in the spring/ early summer, then I get lazy and spend all my time at the beach until its too cold and dark.

Up until now though my gains have been more then the loses. I am working on changing that ratio though.
