chip time or gun time?

Which one do you go by, chip time or gun time? I just found my latest race results online and if I go by my chip time then I PR'd by over a minute?

The whole point of using chips is to give you your "true" time without penalizing you for any delay in reaching the start line because of the crowd.

I was thinking along the same lines. I thought snacks or going to the range.
but chip would be the best because it starts and ends at the lines.0 -
