Eating earlier in the evening success stories?

If eating dinner and after dinner snacks earlier has made a difference in your loss, please share your success story! I got a bad cold and have stalled with a gain in the three weeks since. Before that I was losing at a faster rate than expected. I upped my calls slightly for the week I was sick. Otherwise, nothing I am tracking has changed. I suspect I have been eating later meals and that this is doing me wrong....but I am not sure. I would love to hear some success stories that will inspire me to make some changes or let the meal time question go

The timing of when you eat your meals will not make a difference.
What will make a difference is whether or not you are creating a calorie deficit. If you ingest fewer calories than you burn, then you will lose weight. If you ingest more calories than you burn, then you will gain weight. If you are eating and burning the same amount of calories, then you will maintain your weight. Or, if you are fluctuating back and forth between a calorie surplus and a calorie deficit of roughly similar amounts, then, again, you will maintain your weight.
How often are you weighing yourself? It could be that you ate more during that one week and gained a bit and when you resumed your normal routine you began losing again, but you had to first lose what you had gained.0
