Get in my belly!!!

First of all, I have just always liked that saying.
Okay, for the last month I have been tracking my macros and I'm seeing great results. I'm losing fat and maintaining my ideal weight of 192-195 pounds. I'm still eating at a deficit, but I've essentially been at a ratio of 50% protein, 30% carbs and 20% fat. I've lost the love handles on the sides and now all I have is that stupid pouch upfront that covers my lower abs (my upper abs are actually peaking). My question to all of you who have gone through this is, if I decide to start bulking for upper chest definition will that slow my ab process, because bulking will require more calories and right now it's more like a clean lean bulk per say? I just don't want to add to the decreasing layer in my stomach. I lift heavy and do HIIT along with cardio 4-6 times a week and I'm almost there. I hear all the time that this is the hardest part to lose so I don't want to regress at all.
Thanks in advance

First, congrats on your progress…
the problem with fat gain or loss is that you have zero control where it is going to come off and where it is going to come on. So if you do a bulk now you are going to have to accept that some of it may cover up the abs the are starting to peek out..
Here would be my advice….
Keep cutting until you hit a minimum of 15% body fat and then do a bulk to where maybe you only put on say 2% body fat, and then cut back down to 10%….
I would also be interested to here what others have to say ..
and 50% protein? damn brother, that is some serious protein!! …I have mine set to 40%…..0 -

Thanks because the abs IMO are more impressive and the chest may be easier to get after the fact. The 50% has been showing results, lol, I just know eat big to get big so I'm feeding the muscles this way.0 -

I used the machine at the gym and it said 20% so I'm about 5% away. I will just continue cutting to 15% because I'm so close and regressing would be uncivilized.....lol0
