I am trying lose a total of 70 pounds this year and I am working my butt off... well I was but over this past week I have been slipping. My main support is my wonderful husband and he is US Army so he is in shape. Well, I need him to work out with me again but he says it is too easy for him or he is too tired. Now when he has time off he wont peel away from the computer for 30 minutes to do anything for me or with me.
Any suggestions on to simply get him to walk with me? once I walk I am ready to go for the day but I don't spend much time with him as it is and it is hard to try to do this alone.

1. Say "I really want you to go for a walk with me" hopefully he will because he wants to make you happy.
2. If not go anyways, this is your battle not his, its great if he helps you but you are going to have to find your own motivation, you are a grown up stop using him as your crutch.0 -
I agree that doing this alone is very difficult. Unfortunately, it is super difficult to motivate someone else. If you're interested, I help to run weight loss support groups on Facebook. You can post questions, daily struggles, victories, or anything else on your mind. Our current group has over 450 people (and small groups for more accountability if you want to participate). We're there to answer questions, lend support, and even give some tough love when it's needed. We have weekly live team broadcasts over Youtube where a few of us discuss a topic of the day, give nutrition and exercise tips, and answer people's questions. You can make it what you want it to be and be as active as you want, but it's an awesome resource to keep in your back pocket. It certainly helped push me past my own goals.
I'd be happy to talk with you more about it or answer any questions you might have if you'd like.

Depending on what he does in the Army, he may really be tired. Remember that they do PT in the morning, so for him, that's two workouts in one day. (My husband is Army too.
Do you have any girlfriends you could call to go for a walk with? Or maybe sign up for a class at a gym, so you have other people to work out with and motivate you but your DH can rest?
ETA: If you live near a base, often there's a workout group for the spouses. And if not, I bet you could start one to great success!0
