    Well....

There were the Looney Tunes cartoons that were great.

Also Scooby Doo and the Flintstones.

Super Friends... and Spider-Man and his amazing friends

    Um...

Transformers, and GI Joe, of course

I watch cartoons to this very day, so I am struggling with where the cut-off age is :-)

loved me a bit of old school Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes etc too

OMG that Super Mario Bros cartoon with the live action bit at the beginning and the Mario rap at the end...... must youtube this immediately!

    road runner.

my dad worked pretty far away and was very busy, so i didnt get to see a whole lot of him at times. for some reason, when the road runner and wile e. coyote were at it, he would sit with me and watch and laugh and laugh. i loved that cartoon, and even more, the fact that my dad did too and it allowed him to stop and enjoy life for a minute.

ETA: aside from that touching story above, i was a sucker for:

    thundercats
    he-man
    heathcliff
    inspector gadget
    and muppet babies

it's between 1960's version of Rocky and Bullwinkle or Woody Woodpecker - 40's (none of this politically correct re-edits with new dialogue)

    Woody - http://youtu.be/ceBH93EOots
