How to get the last 10 pounds off!!!

Ok, I am a 18years old girl, 5'9, 135 lbs. I lost 10 lbs already and have 10 -15 more to go, but no matter what I do I can't seem to shed the rest . I have decreased my calorie consumption WAY lower than I should, but still nothing is happening.

I need your advice on what to do to get rid of the last bit. What did you do to lose the last 10?

Well there's your problem, you're meant to eat more when you approach your goal, not less. Change your goal to 0.5lbs a week so you're only eating a 250 calorie deficit a day. It'll take a while and you'll need patience, but that's what happens when you approach your goal. Just keep at it, though, don't give up, eat enough and it'll come off. I'm on the last few pounds myself, and it's taking time, but coming off at about half a pound a week as I'd expect. Good luck!

Decreasing cals is not the answer - eat too little for too long and you're setting yourself up for a bunch of potential problems.

I'm an inch shorter than you, decades older, and I lost my last 10 lbs eating 1800-2000 cals a day.

But hard to offer advice without knowing more about you - an open diary so we can see your current calorie goal and how you've been eating, and what, if any, exercise are you currently doing? What are your goals - just to lose the weight on the scale, or to have a firm, fit body? Gain strength? Lose fat & inches? Flexibility?

Set your goal to .5 lb. per week, eat back at least half your exercise calories, and be patient.
