Brownie mix serving sizes/calories?

I bought a box of organic brownie mix and it says the serving size is 3 tbsp dry mix. If I make the whole box, how do I figure out the calories? Are the eggs and other ingredients you add to the mix already included in the calories on the box? It also comes with frosting, but there's no extra nutrition information for it, so should I assume it's already part of the given calories as well?

Thanks!

Not sure on organic....but on the ones that I have done in the past the nutritional fact are based on the finished product. Usually it is a 2x2 in brownie in the other mixes. Hope this helps!

Does it say how many servings in the box? You can input servings per box and then divide it up, like if you cut it in 20 squares, and then eat one square, you ate .5 servings. I would assume the eggs, oil etc are included in the calories, and the frosting too, if there is not separate nutrition info on that somewhere on the box.

What's the brand? I find it strange that it could include ingredients you would add to it. I guess they have suggestions on the box but they can't know what you'll use for sure , just what they've provided in the box.

The brand is European Gourmet Bakery. It says it's 200 calories for 1/16th of the package (3 tbsp dry mix).

I think I'm going to do this. Thanks!

Then the recipe makes 16 brownies.

I know, I was just curious whether I should add extra calories for the eggs and butter or if it's already included. :)

Usually there are two calorie counts-- one for dry mix and one prepared.

If it doesn't specify prepared assume it means dry mix only.

eta: also don't trust the "prepared" calorie count-- it will often vary based on the products you use
