Is there a cure for N.A.S.? How do I get a bigger butt?!

How do I get a bigger butt?!!

Okay so, all the males in my family have N.o A.ss S.yndrome. What can I do to make my gluteus not-so-maximus into at least something that will hold up my darn pants?! (Yes, a belt accomplishes the task. The men in my family have a Belt-based Mutual Fund keeping the Belt Industry afloat.)

I googled some about it, but just wondered if anyone had any opinions on this subject. Specific exercises or machines? By the way, I have arthritis (something I inherited from my Mom's side of the family... genetic JACKPOT!) in one of my knees, so squats are painful, but maybe they would be less painful in time?

Thoughts? Comments? Advice? Is this even possible? Am I just stuck with N.A.S. for the rest of my life? (Oh, yeah... and, I'm against implants and injections.)

Thanks in advance.

Hi. Barbell squats are excellent, of course, but I would check with a sports doc or physical therapist before doing weighted ones, given your knee issues. If you get the okay, make sure you learn proper form.

Deadlifts are an excellent addition, again provided you don't experience knee pain when performing them.

^^ This gears itself towards women, but it's not a gluteus feminus, so I think you're in luck

Barbell hip thrusts and barbell glute bridges are good.

All the best. Good luck. Perhaps bumping this will get some other folks to chime in as well.
