Wow.
As of today, the amount of weight I have to my goal weight, is in the double (instead of triple) digits. I found a spreadsheet from 2002 when I was trying to lose weight. I went from 266 to 228 in five months, then I stopped tracking it. I don't remember why. In 2010, I tried again, using a website other than MFP, and I did horribly. Between March and October, I was on a yo-yo. My starting weight was 255, I went down to 240.2, and then back up to 250. Then I stopped using it, and went up 30 pounds between Oct 2010 and Oct 2013. Now, I am feeling pretty good. I am keeping myself accountable, and I am almost to my lowest recorded weight in the last 12 years. I plan on blowing through that and landing in Onederland sometime in the fall.
In other news, I know my food diary today is going to suck. I took my son out to eat, and the only place in the food court with food I like, is a company I don't want to give money too. Gah. So I watched him eat, and then walked the mall. Then went grocery shopping. But dang it, I want food I don't have to cook, so I will go out, and enjoy something that I can't measure and just do quick-add calories for the day. (and probably be way off, but it's not the end of the world.)
I am proud of me. Part of it was that I took pictures today, and I think I actually see a difference. Bought a full length mirror, so I can remind myself to take pictures more frequently, maybe make a slideshow at the end. Also, I could totally see a difference between my old profile headshot, and the new one I put up this morning.
Today, is a good day. Now, to take myself out on a date. Dinner, workplace prank, and a movie. Fun stuff.

I'm proud of you too. It's really cool that you're recording your entire journey over the past 12 years. Now with pics I think this is going to be something you love to look back on after you're at your goal weight.0

Thanks. I wish I'd kept more records before (or not lost spreadsheets I know have to have existed at some point). Heck, in the late 90s, I had a piece of graph paper taped to the bathroom door so I could record my weight that way. I think I was only a bit above 200 then, after the birth of my son. I only remember that I wore a size 18 dress home from the hospital (weird the things you remember). I think I my highest weight ever was the last weigh-in before I had my daughter. I think it was in the 290s. Which was one of the triggers for this. I was far to close to that pregnant weight and I refused to be that high again. I think the difference this time, compared to the previous attempts, is that now I'm actually weighing my food. Before I'd eyeball it., maybe use a measuring cup. Maybe one day, my brain will understand that I don't need the huge portions on the plate, but that day is not today, so I weigh.0
