Including activities at work as part of exercise log

Hi all!
My first post
Quick question- does anyone put the physical activities they do at work down in their exercise log, or is that cheating?
For example- I work nights in healthcare (I've only just worked out how to add up my calories properly due to out of whack eating times!) I start at 20:30 and am continuously walking at a steady pace until about 01:00, I sit down for paperwork until 03:30 then I'm up walking again until 07:30. Can I put the active times down as 'walking at a steady pace' in my exercise log?
Thanks all
