Trying to work out why I go over my sugar Allowance daily. The main thing i am having is Coffee 2-3 cups a day and 2 teaspoons of raw sugar in each. Trying to work out are the better alternatives besides artificial sweetners. Other than that I am doing well 3 kg down since end of January this year.

Best thing I can think of is stevia... it's the best non-sugar sweetener. Or maybe some honey... I love my coffee with some raw honey and a drizzle of milk. Actually, milk can help a lot to improve the taste of sugarless coffee, and it gives you some protein too.0

If you eat a lot of fruit that'll do it. I just try not to worry about it so much if it's natural sugar. I know sugar is sugar but for me, it's worth it for the healthy stuff fruits have in them! Unless you have diabetes or some other medical condition I wouldn't stress TOO much over it. Just keep an eye on it, really.
Also, congrats on your weight loss!0 -

Pretty much everything has sugar in it and MFP counts it all.
This includes everything from the natural sugars in whole foods (look at the nutrition info for milk some time), and the ingredient sugar used in practically every prepared food product that isn't meat. (And there are about 20 different names for it.)
The most recent crop of nutrition guidelines claim we should only be worried about 'added sugar' where it's used, often in large quantities, as an ingredient.0 -
thanks everyone so looks like I shouldnt be so worried and just enjoy my coffee. I tried honey on the weekend in the coffee but MFP says the calories was higher than sugar so I am not sure. Maybe the raw Honey might be better?0

No problem! and no, i wouldn't worry! Unless you're diabetic or have some other medical condition, it's not usually a big deal. So many things have sugar in it, it's really hard to avoid.
As to the honey, I can't help you there. I use Truvia for sweetener. It's quite good.0 -
I am going to give Stevia a go will let you know how I go. there was plenty of choices at Coles. There was a lot with rubbish additives so read the labels0

I'd just stick with the sugar or drink better coffee that doesn't need it0
