That's right!!! It was four, very long, very emotional months of NO WEIGHT LOSS. BUT NOW IT'S OVER!!!
My last recorded loss was the very beginning of November. I was sticking to my calories, even through the holidays (I didn't gain!!!). I was continuing my normal work outs - training for my upcoming spring half marathons and summer triathlons (including a half Ironman). I watched my macros. So even though nothing changed, my weight loss flat lined. I measured, and even my inches didn't change. I reviewed things with my doctor, and my blood work looked great, so she urged me to just keep plugging forward. Frustrated, I came to the MFP forums and THAT is where I found my answer!!!
I posted an SOS to get some support, and somebody mentioned changing up the types of food I eat daily. I'm a habit eater: I generally have the same thing for breakfast (greek yogurt with almonds!), the same 2 or 3 things for lunch, and the same 2 or 3 things for dinner. So I switched things up entirely and am avoided my 'usual' meals for the last week. Same calorie amount, same macros, and same workout routine. AND IT WORKED!!!! This morning I was down 1/2 a pound!!!!
OH YEAH!!!

Congratulations for sticking with it! :flowerforyou:
Plateaus can be so de-motivating. It does seem that altering your routine a bit is the key to getting past them.0 -
