BBQ chicken wings vs resteraunt style

Having a hard time finding a definitive answer but I'm assuming doing split chick wings on BBQ (no breading) would be much healthier than the breaded deep fried sauce laden resteraunt style? I typically don't use sauce I prefer the dry rub herbs over sauces or perhaps a light brushing with a Thai sauce

Grilled wings with a homemade or storebought bbq sauce will be lower calorie than a breaded, deep fried, wing that is coated in a sauce that is mostly butter.0

Enter your recipe in the recipe calculator and use one wing as one serving, which will make it easier to see how many wings will fit into your day. By making them at home, you can control the ingredients. No breading and no oil will definitely save you some calories. I have noticed that there are different entries on MFP, some are for the entire wing, others are for drummets, so pick an entry that matches your preparation method.0

I did that and it seems like it's like half the calories or resteraunt ones like Kelsey's wasn't expecting that kind of difference but I guess fried and breasting doesn't help0

Healthier needs some context. Grilled will generally have fewer calories depending on the amount of sauce someone might consume.0
