Benefits of Logging honestly and accurately

I have recently gone through a period of great frustration. I have not lost much for a month, logging every day and exercising every day. When I would go over on eating I would log that I logged everything. I have lost 30 pounds but for the last month it stayed even. This morning I was about ready to give up. A fitness pal mentor looked at my logs with me today. Lo and behold. Every little line on my graph has a little red bump on it for the last month. My interior logic I'm doing really well I can log an extra calorie or two.
They add up!!! I would encourage others who were at a plateau to look back through your diaries and graphs.I'll bet you have the same thing I do. I am so glad I am honest in my logging as it helps me see the problem, which is my own old habits.
