id say beatles, and if that includes all the post beatle projects by the members, then thats even better, as it will include Wings.

edit: or i could just say paul maccartney to include beatles, wings and his solo stuff :D

Pearl Jam or Foo Fighters - it'd be a tough choice

Foos - though Pearl Jam would be an ok SECOND choice :)

Pick one band / artist to listen to for the rest of your life.

I'm too eclectic and varied in tastes. Could never have a favorite band like that. I would die.

couldn't do just one but would have to be a band who could do anything from mellow to mild rock so maybe
don't laugh, John Mayer or Def Leppard.

So I originally said Dave Matthews Band......they have a huge collection and I love everything they do, I honestly listen to them everyday...

but then I saw a bunch of people say the Foo Fighters, and I was like "oh ya good choice, me too" Grohl is probably the coolest guy in music right now, everything they do is awesome,

Then I noticed some fools said Beatles, and I was like "totally, that **** is da bomb, I couldn't live without some Beatles

Then I thought well what about Floyd, crap, life would be pretty dull without Floyd.

Then I was driving home listening to my Moondance cd and I was like, "no way I could live without me some Van Morrison"

Then I was doing some writing and I had on a playlist of mostly Bon Iver and I was like "Oh I could listen to this all day"

THEN I REALIZED THAT THIS F'N THREAD HAS GIVEN ME ANXIETY AND I FEEL LIKE I HAVE CHEATED ON ALL MY DEARLY LOVED MUSIC BY TRING TO PICK ONE, DAME YOU OP, DAME YOU

    Serious tie between:
    Led Zeppelin
    Manu Chao
    Sean Hayes

But if I had to pick one I'd probably go with Led Zeppelin... too bad there are no future releases to look forward to, though!

Some awesome choices, but no Johnny Cash? That's like a million years of a lot of great music and changing styles. Yep - Johnny Cash for me.
