Hey everyone, with dentures:
When a person losses alot of weight will you need to have your dentures relined.

No. Your palate has very little fat, so not much will change for your upper dentures. Lowers never fit well in the first place lol0

Maybe my dentist said it could potentially be an issue and I have noticed the last few times I have worn my partial it fits differently.0

It can affect the fit. The cheeks also give a full denture some support along with the palate.0

Yes it can change the way they fit. I have seen it happen several times with the population that I work with.0
