Calorie Intake Question

I'm doing the TDEE method and eating 1650 calories (my BMR was 1,349 and my TDEE was 2,209) and I am hoping to lose one pound a week. My question is, when I calculate my TDEE I put in that I do 45 minutes of heavy activity a day, which for me is cardio. Most days in the evening I take my daughter for a walk in her wagon and burn another 100-130 calories. This is not factored into my TDEE and I'm not sure how to do that. Should I just eat THOSE calories back?

If your eating calories back you're totally negating the TDEE method. personally I'd just count the walk with your daughter as normal daily activity and ignore them. Also as you have a relatively small amount to lose weightloss will be slower anyway and maybe between 1700 and 1800 could be a better figure to work off0

With TDEE you do not eat back any exercise calories.0

I agree with the others. I use the MFP method because my exercise is not consistent, therefore my TDEE changes from day to day. Because of that, I eat my exercise calories back.
If you use the TDEE method, consistent exercise is already factored in. Eating back calories would be counter-productive. :flowerforyou:0 -
I'm using the TDEE method and I only eat a bit more if I do some unexpected heavy exercise (i.e. shoveling snow) and I feel hungry after that.0
