Children and workouts!

No advice really needed, just wanting a whinge! Does anyone else have to really work their workouts around small children? I often feel like I have to move mountains or motivation in order to fit it in. I'm currently still on maternity leave and my husband works 6 days a week, I have a 9 month old and a 3.5 year old, its not so bad when my eldest is out at nursery since at the moment the 9 month old isn 't yet crawling and will sit with some toys for 30 mins while I do a dvd but on the days I have both children I have to try to workout with the oldest trying to join in/sitting on me/running through my legs!!! I struggle to workout in the evening as we eat as a family at about 5 and it can be 7.30 by the time the children are in bed and I'm just too tired and have other chores to do. I feel like I deserve a medal most weeks for even fitting in 5 workouts (I'm doing Body Revolution). Ahhhh I miss the days pre-children of spending hours at the gym!

Oh I hear you!!!! I love my son, but his schedule rules mine. I joined a gym class twice a week and that helps, after his bed time, so I'm out the door at 8pm. It's a struggle sometimes, to stay motivated to go to the gym at night, but it's the only time that fits. Phew.
