Dieting AGAIN.

Hello! I'm a 27 year old female, stay at home mom. I could use encouragement or support. I guess being part of a community might help?

I'm 5'3 and about 140-145lbs (afraid to step on the scale) which is apparently only a little overweight, but that BMI thing is crap. At this point, I probably have way, way more body fat than I should. I'm sedentary.

This would be another attempt at a diet. I am recovering/recovered? from an eating disorder and I'm trying to diet the right way. I yo-yo diet and I think that's due to constant crash diets where I make no commitment to exercise or even eating healthier foods.

Looking for a lifestyle change. Seriously. I've eaten horribly my entire life and go between eating whatever I want to doing crash diets, which is horrible.

I'm going to try and exercise for an hour and a half or more for about four days a week to start off. When spring rolls around, I'm hoping to add an hour or two of walking to that. And eat more healthily.

I'm not used to this, but I've never done it the right way, and I hope it can be done! My goal is to lose 30lbs altogether, which may be unrealistic. Really, I just want to be happy with the way my body looks and if toning and exercising can do that and I'm happy at 130 somehow, I'll take it.

This place looks great! I really hope I can follow through with this. I want to be healthy and live a long time for my kid and husband. I also have a vacation coming up that I'd like to be okay with wearing a bathing suit for :/ but it's a permanent change, I HOPE.
