If you are using the MFP method, you should be eating your exercise calories back. (at least a portion of them to account for overestimation)

    Hi,

This is helpful info http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/6556-the-answers-to-the-questions. I found all of the links in the Getting Started section of Topics really helpful. If you have time it makes for interesting and enlightening reading.

Yes you should be eating all your calories - goal means GOAL - something to strive for, achieve, reach, not something to fall well short of.

Keep in mind that they daily goal MFP gives you already has you at a deficit, meaning you can eat all your calories every day and you'll lose weight. If you exercise, those burned cals are added back in - eat them back bringing your NET cals at or very near goal and you're still at a deficit.

    Food is fuel!
