Hi everybody!

Im a 23 y.o. active male. I have been an off-and-on vegetarian over the past few years and have decided on a middle ground: greatly reducing my intake of meat and cutting out red meat almost entirely. I started the vegetarian thing to test myself and expand my cooking. I have since found some wonderful sources of protein without eating meat! I really love that I can keep track of the protein I am getting as well as some other info but my only problem is that a lot of my food is not in the system. Almost everything I eat is homemade and involves a lot of fresh veggies, grains, nuts etc. I find it hard to go through my meal of, lets say...Red Lentil and Red Pepper soup... and input all the ingredients to figure out the stats.

I need advice for someone like myself using the site simply to monitor calorie/fat/protein intake and exercise.
