Hi,
New to myfitnesspal, but not to weight loss. Joined this site because my boot camp coach is having everyone log their food and this seems a good place to do it.
I'm 40 w/2 kids. I've dieted 4 times in my life. As a young adult, I was always 110 pounds. Then when I hit 30 and hit 139 pounds, for me a wake up call. I counted calories and hit the gym and got back to 115 pretty painlessly. With child 1 I gained 60 pounds. It took a year to get back to 115. With child 2 I only gained 40 pounds, but it took 2 years to get back to 115. Four months ago, I hit 130 pounds and drew the line in the sand. I want to get to 118 and maintain it.
This has been by far the hardest weight loss for me, in that my metabolism just doesn't have the burn rate it used to - but with boot camp and calorie counting I'm now about a pound from my goal. Yay!
Anyway, it's nice to be here.
