Gorgonzola Chicken Pasta
This recipe is made from my own personal preferences, so if you want to change something, go for it! Post it on here too because I would love to hear some variations!
1 Serving (3/4 of a cup or 2 oz.) of DeBoles' Penne Pasta, dry - 210 Cal
1 oz of Gorgonzola cheese - 99 Cal
4 oz of skim milk - 45 Cal
1/2 cup of zucchini, chopped into rectangles - 10 Cals
1/2 cup of shredded carrots - 25 Cals
4 spears of Asparagus, raw or canned - 13 Cals
1/2 cup of Spinach, canned, with juices - 21 Cals
1/2 cup of sliced mushroom - 8 Cals
2 cloves of garlic, minced or chopped - 8 Cals
1/3 cup of grilled boneless chicken breast, skinless - 77 Cals
Total Calorie intake is 516 Calories!
1) Boil Pasta until designated tenderness.
2) While Pasta is boiling, make sauce (sauce recipe below)
3) Cooking chicken in skillet.
4) Once chicken is cooked, except the spinach and juices, add all vegetables to fry along with chicken.
5) Drain Pasta. Mix Pasta, Sauce, Chicken, and Vegetables.
6) Enjoy
Sauce:
1) Turn stove on low/med heat, add milk, do not allow to boil. Once milk is heated,
2) Add gorgonzola cheese. Mix until blended.
3) Add Garlic and spinach with juices.

all of my favorite things!!! sounds fab!0 -
sounds really filling and full of veggies. the only suggestion i would make is swapping out a whole wheat or multi-grain pasta for the regular (though i'm a big fan of the regular) to bump up the fiber and the protein <-- go figure!
otherwise, this sounds delish. you get a lot of bang for your buck with this one.
