It doesn't have enough of the texture for me to replace real peanut butter with it. But I love adding it to smoothies and the like to add that peanut butter flavor without the calories or fat0

It's not bad. It definitely taste different. But you can adjust the thickness based on how much water you add. I'm a PB addict, so it was a good options. Plus, I have to make it each time I want it. A little more work.0

It's a decent substitute. I like it in oatmeal. But I eat it on bread too, but I also still use regular peanut butter at times too.
It's real peanuts just pulverized and without their oil. I think it's a good alternative, decently priced, low calories, etc. So some people might like that.
I don't think the PB2 w/ chocolate is very chocolate-y at all.
A link to their site. (my grocery stores here carry it locally)

Is that right? It's 5g of protein for 2 tablespoons? The PB I use is 14g of protein for 2 table spoons. So I'd need 3 servings of PB2 to match that. Yea, the calorie difference then isn't enough to make it a suitable replacement for me as it's only a 50 cal difference or so. I may get some to have in case I want the PB flavor without the fat though.0

I love it in my protein shake, but reconstituted I thought it was gross.0

I've not tried to eat it like peanut butter but I do love to put it into greek yogurt and dip fruit, esp. apples in it. I've also used it in smoothies. I like that I can get the flavor of PB with less fat and calories.0

You can find it where you buy peanut butter. I use the Bell Plantation brand, and have used both the regular PB and the one with chocolate. I add it to my protein shakes, & to oatmeal. It isn't the same as reg PB if you want to use it on bread or something. I'd recommend a natural peanut spread if that's what you want, the oil is the difference for the texture for sure. My grocery store has a section where you can make your own peanut butter or almond butter. But as far as PB2, it's a great flavor add-in.0

So what we learned from the responses is:
that it taste different, but not bad,
is great if you are following low calories or low fat,
but not so much so if you want tons of protein.
So like everything else, it may or may not be right for you.0
