if arent active at all and activity level is super low is bmr maintainence for the day an example , like on sick days , when you go just downstairs maybe once or twice then watch tv all day would your bmr calories technically be maintainence in this situation. not sick just wonderin

No, unless you are in a coma, not moving at all, BRM is not maintenance. BMR is what is needed to simply keep you alive. Once you start moving in any way, rolling over in bed, going to the washroom, making meals, you burn more than your BMR. If all you do is basically sit on the couch watching TV all day, then you are sedentary and burn about 1.2 times your BMR. If you are sick your body burns a few extra calories to fight infection as well. It is not a huge amount more, but it would be more that simply sedentary.
Most people are more active than sedentary. Often between sedentary and lightly active, but just as often lightly active.0
